HERIZON CONCEPTS is an OHCQ approved vendor to teach the required 80 Hour Assisted Living Manager Training Course, the classes for 4 beds Clinical Updates. Each course meets the requirements as outlined in COMAR 10.07.14.18 and 10.07.14.19 PLEASE NOTE CHANGES TO SCHEDULE (revised 12/2009)

80 hours Session is 40 hours a week for 2 non-consecutive weeks. SESSION ONE & TWO = 80 hours ALM training. Each session is $700.00 per person. Starting in April, the price for the 80 Hours Sessions will be $725.00 per session.

REGISTER BEFORE THE POSTED DEADLINES: SESSION ONE & TWO; there is a non refundable Processing fee($50.00) for registration received less than 48 hours prior to the start of the class.

April 5th - 9th Clinical Management and Dementia/Mental Health & Behavior Management classes deadline  Mar. 30 before 5P

 

NOTE: Any classes scheduled by HERIZON CONCEPTS will be conducted contingent on a minimum class size of pre-registered candidates. NO WALK INS.  

CANCELLATION POLICY: Candidate cancellation notice received less than 48 hours prior to the start of SESSION ONE or SESSION TWO will incur a $50.00 non-refundable processing fee. Candidate cancellation notice received less than 48 hours prior to the start of Annual CLINICAL UPDATE classes will incur a $40.00 non-refundable processing fee.

ALL cancellations must be in writing or emailed to HERIZON CONCEPTS prior to 48 hours before start of class to avoid the non refundable processing fees.

At traffic intersection CROSSROADS, make a left turn, make an immediate right turn at PARK CENTER COURT, go to building 4 Park Center. Park in spaces NOT reserved. Take elevator to 2nd floor. NOTE: Persons who are exempt from the 80 hour ALM training, and need the Annual/Clinical Updates (less than 5 beds). This is a 4 day/30+ hour program. Classes are scheduled and the total cost is $425.00 per person. Price includes Nutrition/Food Safety & Emergency Planning/Fire. Starting in April, the price for the Annual/Clinical Updates will be $450.00.

ANNUAL/CLINICAL UPDATES: There is a non-refundable processing fee of ($40.00) for registration received less than 48 hours prior to the start of the class.

The price for the Annual/Clinicals will be $425.00 

ANNUAL/CLINICAL UPDATES

April 7th (9am-2pm). May 4th will be Food & Fire Safety Classes. May 5th - 6th (9am-2pm).The TEST will be held May 7th at 2:30pm. The Annual/Clinicals deadline April 5th before 5P

 **** Please note, Annual/Clinical Update is not the same as 20 hr continuing education (as per COMAR 10.07.14.16C) ***

 

CERTIFIED MEDICATION TECHNICIAN TRAINING - for ALM's obtaining ALM licensure, CMT training is required by Maryland Board of Nursing & OHCQ

Cost $225.00 pp (includes non-refundable $25.00 test fee)

MEDICATION TECHNICIAN TRAINING

 

All must sign up for & pass the required Mandatory Md. Bd. of Nursing test at least one week prior to entry into the CMT program.
